Here is how it works: The amount you choose can be taken from your paycheck before taxes are deducted, so at the end of the year you pay less tax on your income. Taxes will be taken out of your savings when you start withdrawing upon your retirement. All full-time BrownIT employees are eligible, and you can make changes to your 401(k) at any time.
